Tiziana Sanna's new solo exhibition is dedicated to the marine fauna of the Mediterranean Sea.
The collection of paintings is the fruit of extensive research into the species that populate the Mare Nostrum, an incredible journey to the other side of Sardinia that the artist wishes to narrate: the sea, with which he has established a profound connection thanks in part to snorkeling.
The loggerhead sea turtle, peacock wrasse, comber wrasse, octopus, spotted rays, seahorses, peacock wrasse, lobsters, red mullets, spotted rays, and jellyfish are just a tiny part of the infinite underwater world of the Mediterranean Sea, representative of the magnificence of this delicate ecosystem.
The artist has been reflecting on issues related to marine pollution for some time, working with leading regional centers dedicated to the recovery, protection, and conservation of marine fauna and in collaboration with the European Union's Remedies Project, which monitors micro- and macroplastics in eight areas of the Mediterranean Sea.
The exhibition aims to reflect on the issues of marine pollution and the protection of marine biodiversity, in accordance with the 14th goal of the United Nations 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development: Conserve and sustainably use the oceans, seas and marine resources.

Opening Hours: The exhibition will be open Tuesday to Sunday from 9:00 am to 1:00 pm and from 4:00 pm to 10:00 pm, until October 31, 2025.
